B-52H

The B-52H is the U.S. Air Force long-range, large-payload multi-role bomber, known as the Stratofortress. It is capable of carrying nuclear or precision guided conventional ordnance and can perform conventional missions including strategic attack, air interdiction, offensive counter-air and maritime operations to include anti-surface and submarine warfare missions. The B-52H bomber has been in service since 1961 and due to extensive system and structural upgrades, its service life is expected to continue beyond 2030.

Rockwell Collins provides communications and navigation solutions for all B-52H aircraft. Our AN/ARC-210 Multimode Integrated Communications System provides two-way multimode voice and data communications over Ultra High Frequency/Very High Frequency (U/VHF) in normal, secure or jam-resistant modes through Line-of-Sight (LOS) or Satellite Communication (SATCOM) links.  The Rockwell Collins ARC-190 High Frequency (HF) communication system is designed for use in various military airborne applications that employ probe/cap, shunt or wire antennas. The system is automatically tuned into both the receive and transmit modes. Built-in Test Equipment (BITE) and modular construction provide for rapid fault isolation to the box and module level for quick repair. It is a light-weight system that operates throughout the standard HF radio spectrum, providing HF communications capability anywhere in the world.
