As the demand for UAS platforms grows for military and civil applications, we continue to develop and refine customized technologies that are crucial for UAS mission success.

To further enhance our unmanned offerings, we have acquired Athena Technologies, a leading developer and manufacturer of control and navigation solutions for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV), and military and civilian manned aircraft. This combination of proven technologies will expand our UAS capabilities for enhanced situational awareness and enable effective command and control in today's complex battlespace.

Rockwell Collins' low-cost, high performance solutions for UAS platforms offer enhanced navigation, communications, sensors and flight control capabilities. Our solutions also feature surveillance for Global Air Traffic Management (GATM), miniaturized Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers and open system architectures.

In addition to our proven ARC-210 radio solutions, Rockwell Collins supplies small form factor data links, such as the Miniature-Common Data Link (Mini-CDL), TacNet™, Weapon Data Link Architecture (WDLA), QUINT Networking Technology (QNT) and Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT). For data, voice and video requirements, we offer our expertise with Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Line-of-Site (LOS) communications. We also offer TacVue™, which is a small Synthetic Aperture Radar being developed for tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platforms, such as the U.S. Army's Shadow UAV. TacVue provides users with an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capability that sees through clouds and dust while providing a Ground Moving Target Indicator with Coherent Change Detection (CCD) technology.
